The method of using the sterilization bag is as follows:
1. Self-sealing sterilization packaging bag: Uncover the medical self-adhesive tape and paste it along the dotted line of the seal.
2. Heat-sealed sterilization bags, sterilized with a sealing machine
When using a sealing machine to wrap paper-plastic bags, please pay attention to check whether the sealing date is accurate, and check the validity of the date after sealing. When the handwriting becomes lighter, please add the printer ink in time. The temperature of the medical sealing machine is usually 180°C, which melts the polypropylene into a liquid and extrudes the film into paper fibers. The width of the sealing pattern of the paper-plastic packaging should be ≥6mm and the sealing must be a continuous shape, smooth without wrinkles, no bubbles or liquid leakage.
When packing, check the cleanliness and dryness of the packaged items. During the autoclaving process, the equipment is not completely cleaned, and the remaining oil and moisture are only soaked on the surface of the paper to form a wet bag.
3. Protect sharp instrument parts, such as sharp scissors, and cover them with silicone tubes or rubber tubes, so as not to pierce the paper-plastic packaging and cause sterilization failure;
4. Paper plastic bags must be properly cut and used accurately to remove air, soak in disinfectant and dry. Expelling unnecessary air will act as a barrier to heat and moisture, so remove as much air as possible before sealing. Also, the bag should not be too full. Stretching the paper plastic bag can cause the paper to tear or the seal to break when sterilized or moved; other equipment crowds the bag, and there is no certain space in the bag, which is not conducive to steam. Immersion and circulation, the steam is easy to collect on the plastic surface of the packaging bag, it is difficult to evaporate and produce wet packaging. But the bag shouldn't be too big, as the movement of the bag may cause the contents of the bag to slide from end to end or from end to end. Excessive sliding may damage the seal or pierce one side of the paper. There is still relatively more air in the bag, and more condensed water will be produced when heated. Excessive condensed water cannot be completely evaporated, which may easily lead to a wet bag. Therefore, to shorten and recycle the bag space, a space of about 2.5cm should be left between the device and the sealed edge of the bag. For larger bags, after sealing one end, gently press the air out of the bag, then seal the other end. With less cold air in the bag, there will be less condensation in the bag when heated, causing moisture to reduce the likelihood of packaging.
